| Our Norwegian client is looking for a Geologist. This is a permanent position for a company based in Stavanger, Norway for an international company. |

Main tasks: working with mostly oil wells and fields already in operation, monitoring of wells.
Candidates will be required to apply a broad range of development geoscience skills, both independently and as part of the multi-disciplinary team. Tasks will involve interpretation of basin play types, identification and justification of appraisal drilling prospects utilizing reservoir modelling and the interpretation of well performance.
Requirements:
- at least 5 years experience as a geologist
- geo experience with modelling and development
- experience with salt tectonics, site/area strategy
- experience with Petrel and RMS
- the candidate should also be capable of planning and executing field work planning of the wells
- previous experience at North Sea is advantage
- proficiency in English
- previous experience in oil and gas industry
